Got PhotoShop CS3!! Plz help explain the basics

Yeah... I'm probably the LEAST expected the person to get Photoshop CS3 Extended. But I really need some tutorials because I have NO CLUE how to use it. I really need help! I forgot who has Photoshop... you people with Photoshop cs3 please help me!

Well, cheap copies don't come that often, Photoshop has every color in history and is worth over $500.

Its mostly the same as paint.net. But a lot better. Just try pasting a picture and fool with it.
