Once you have done that you should be registered, now you can login to your name by typing in the following:

/msg nickserv identify <your-password>

Now you're done

I recommend using a chat client like Pidgin so you can have the CPHQ chat running next to your IMs.

Can Adium do it too? Pidgin and Adium have almost the same codings.

I don't see anything on http://www.adiumx.com that says it supports IRC, so I guess not.

Internal Server Error

Go to Accounts > Manage > Add

Then fill in these options:

Protocol: IRC
Username: (your name)
Server: irc.freenode.net
Password: (your password for your registered name)

If you choose the option remember password then you wont have to identify yourself every time you go in to the IRC. Then once you enable that account you type in /join #cphq and you should be in the CPHQ room.

I have mine set so it will automatically join that room for me when I enable my IRC account, here is how to do that:

Go to Buddies > Add Chat

Then put in this information:

Account: (your IRC account)
Channel: #cphq
Password (your password for your registered name)

And check the option Autojoin when account becomes online.
