Halo Custom Edition

Anyone have this game? Basically it is Halo PC but you can put your own levels on it and share it with other people. I think it is better than any other versions of Halo (for PC). Tell me if you have it. I'm sure you don't.

Sort of. You have to buy the actual game called Halo: Combat Evolved, then you download the patch which is free.

I had it. I don't play Halo anymore. I don't think you need Halo Combat Evolved though...

Theres also a custom edition for halo 2. Not as flexible as halo 1's though. Ive seen halo 1's before and its ok. Halo 1 was very easy to mod. Ive modded halo 2 and halo 3, and i'd say that halo 1 was by far the easiest, with halo 3 being the hardest.

Ya. Halo 1 is almost too easy to mod I've been modding the trial version of it mostly. And I swap "blam" files to make any gametype I want. So basically I make the trial version as good as full. (But not quite as good).

Im sure theres a place to download the .map files if im correct? Then just put them in the folder to play? Anyway, modding an xbox 360 on halo 3 is the funniest because only a few limited people can mod because of the tools you need.
