I can assure you that some of these 'newbie' non-members here are more intelligent in Clubpenguin then you think. Anyways, there should be members because they do have to pay to keep the game running, and at least it isn't pay-to-play.

Club Penguin can't get rid of Memberships because of 2 reasons.

1. People who pay Club Penguin for Membership get more stuff because they' re giving money to Club Penguin.

2. Club Penguin would go Bankrupt because the money that people pay to be members is the money Club Penguin uses to pay financial crud.

Most members are just as nooby as some of the non-members, but doesn't mean they should be treated unfairly. To begin with, I was quite annoyed that I couldn't buy anything unless I was a member. So I bought membership - problem solved. Instead of whining, just ask your parents for permission. Non-members can still make it to the A-list if they have pins and free items from years '06 and '07. I think the only "cool" members are the ones that wear free items rather than membership clothing, and don't really mind when they've been called a noob. Because they know they aren't.

Yea without memberships they dont make money and its pointless for them to keep the site running
