Yes.
Want to know how?
First, you need to edit Flash.
1. Go to my computer
2. Click C:
3. Go to windows
4. right click the folder system32
5. and press delete. hit ok. What this does is blocks some barriers that keep you from editing new vars.
6. A dialog asks you to restart. If it doesn't, restart.
7. Restart.
8. Go into flash.
9. Click new project.
10. On the side, there is a button that says "New Variable"
11. Click it. Type in your new var and off you go!

That was the best tutorial ever. I think that deserve a +1 and a sticky.

No, what you're talking about is system 36.
System32 just prevents certain programs, such as Flash, from working properly.
