They spend millions of dollars making movies, and then they get profit back from selling the movie. They use that money to pay actors, directors, fx people, ect, and if they just gave it to the government they'd all go broke. Let's say that I have an idea for a movie. So I go out and search for a producer and we hire a director, crew, actors and buy all the newest and best equipment to make a fantastic movie. If I gave all my profit to the government, what was the fucking point of that? YES. How can I pay the crew, director, actors and buy all the damn equipment? I CAN'T. I gave all my hard earned cash to the government.

Did I just waste my time, effort and money making the best and most profitable movie there ever was and then give the money to the government? The government already gets us through taxes. I might as well have stolen money from a bank, threw it all to Africa and lived in a box in the middle of NYC. Infinity, I bet that you wouldn't be able to live life or even be able to do your job or get a job because you're clueless.

IMHO, the government would rather waste their money funding alien-hunting projects and for personal benefits rather than help their country's people. I also realized that you won't last a second in a business industry and you probably don't understand why Disney bought CP or how people became rich.

Maybe YOU didn't understand what I meant. Why don't they get rid of movies all together? More money for everyone and I go to Walter C. Young Middle in Florida, that school is fucking awesome, and theres always some school who needs computers, books, etc.. and more money for charities it's called being kind.

People aren't forced, obliged or being paid to be kind. Movies are made for entertainment. The President doesn't assign people to make an action movie so they can give cable to hobos. He has better things to do like prevent the country from getting nuked. People make movies to earn money and it's their job. They're job is to entertain people to earn money to put food on the table. It's their choice if they want to donate to charity but that's it. You can't force them to reach into their pockets and give, give, give.
