A thread about vBulletin

Hello members!

This is 2 Bunny once again. It has been a while since I have been on, and I was horrified to discover what had happened to the forum while I was gone!

The first of which was finding my password changed. After I went through the recovery wizard, I logged in and discovered that everyone's had been reset in the great "migration" from the prevailing phpBB to v Bulletin. And I've gotta say, that I am incredibly annoyed.

Just the color, how it looks, the "double click to mark this forum as read" is just a mess. It actually makes me not want to visit. Instead of a walk in the park, it is like squishing through a swamp.

To be honest, I am really hoping for a switch back to good ol' phpBB. It is just such an easy to use interface, and while v Bulletin has some "cutesy" features, there are just too many bugs not worked out yet.

Another question I had, was what happened to bolliverke after the ban was over? What happened? I don't know because of the disorganization of the forum, so if someone could tell me, yeah, that would be great.

We won't ever be switching back. RK paid over $300 for SEO and vBull together. I know you're not used to it - I was the same way. After a while it became natural to me. It's actually much more powerful than phpBB, too. And Bollivierke was demoted from global mod, but is still a blogger.

andyh2 thought it was a good idea to empty the ban list and let all the spam bots & assholes back with a clean slate.

For moderation purposes I do just not a clean slate in how I'm known and I was jk about virtual bullshit it just comes to me when I see vBull lol

Wow, people are still complaining about vBull. I actually REALLY like vBulletin. Also, trust me, we won't be switching back. vBull is very expensive, and after what Rancid paid for it, he will not be switching back.
