A long time ago Disney joined forces with Club Penguin. Spectulation occured as to what stupid/good things that would do for club penguin. And as we can see, both sides of those opinions happened. Some stupid things happened and some good things did. Disneys demographic is mostly 8 to 11 year olds. Club Penguin was always geared for kids. No real sign of being an online teen hangout like games like habbo hotel. But it was never always super kid friendly. Disney joined a long and Brought its 8 to 11 year old audiance with it. 3 year birhtday advertised by disney in new york square. SHOWING us that yes, Club Penguin is now 10 times more geared toward little children then EVER. Which is fine, if club penguin wants to be greedy.
Not only that, but look at the other changes. We have ipod, vans shoes, those weird sandles with the holes in them, and many other real material fashion item based clothing appeal in the game. I mean really. The oh so ugly hair was bad enough but…Vans based shoes? CMON. Leave that crap to habbo hotel. This is Club Penguin. Not paradise for 10 year olds to look “kewl” in clothes they would look ugly with in real life.
Ok lets see..good changes……. I got nothing. More cash for Club Penguin to make more crappy updates, ALSO KNOWN AS REPEATING THE SAME PARTIES. and thats about it.
In Club Penguin headquarters eyes, Club Penguin is falling. But in the regular players eyes of miniclip, it seems to be getting better for them. I guess we cant get what we want then ay?
